Christine Lhowe is an art director, designer, and educator that specializes in design for social innovation and brand development. She explores the intersection of functionality and emotion, aiming to create experiences that better connect people together and improve lives. With an emphasis on accessibility and inclusion, her work mostly benefits underserved and marginalized communities.
Christine is an Associate Professor of Design at Seton Hall University in New Jersey where she teaches courses in graphic design, UX/UI, typography, social design, and branding.
She holds an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts and a BA from Seton Hall University, both in Graphic Design. Her work has been recognized by The National Health + Wellness Design Awards, The Communicator Awards, The Davey Awards, dotcomm Awards, and GDUSA. She has been a recipient of the Sappi Ideas That Matter Grant and Teach Access Curriculum Grant.
Above all of this, she is a mom to three little boys who have taught her more than any degree could.
